Applicants, employers and ad platforms should all be able to see, in one place, what TussockHyre is and isn't. So here it is.
TussockHyre, based in Hexham, Northumberland, United Kingdom, posts work-from-home positions for employers and passes applications on to them. We don't employ anyone we introduce, set their hours, supervise them or pay them.
Employers do, for the advertising and introductions they use. Applicants pay nothing, ever: no deposits, no training charges, no application fees.
We talk to every employer before a position goes up and make sure the listing matches what they told us. We aren't auditors or regulators, though. We don't visit workplaces, look at an employer's books or watch how work is done after someone's hired.
A job, a certain amount of money, set hours or a payday. Those get agreed between you and the employer, and you should have them in writing first.
Straight from employers we've dealt with. We don't lift listings from other sites or post fake ones to collect people's details.
We'll never ask you for money, a code sent to your phone, a banking password or a transfer. If someone does, even using our name, it's not us. Tell us.
It goes to our HR team, then only to the employer for the position you chose. Never sold, never used for marketing. The Privacy Policy lists every service involved.
If an ad for TussockHyre says something this site doesn't, send it to us and we'll correct whichever is wrong.
Honest descriptions, telling us quickly when a position fills, written terms for applicants before work starts, and paying their own workers. Any employer asking applicants for money is gone.
Email careers@tussockhyre.com with what happened, and a screenshot if you've got one. Problems with listings, ads or someone using our name all go there. You'll get a written reply, and we keep it confidential.
We look into every report. If a listing's wrong, it comes down and its ads stop while we talk to the employer, and we'll let you know how it ended.
We keep a record of every listing: when it went up, when it changed, when it came down, and any complaint about it and what we did.
Every report is read by a person. If it's urgent, like a message asking you for money in our name, put Urgent in the subject.
We stick to the rules of the ad platforms we use, and we'll hand them this page and anything else they need to check us.
Whatever you send us in a report is only used to look into it, and only shared as far as that takes.
Whenever our process changes, this page changes too. The date at the top tells you which version you're reading.
